2026 is set to be another big year for the UK pensions industry, with innovation continuing to shape the landscape. We’re seeing new endgame options emerge for defined benefit schemes, further improvements to defined contribution offerings, and perhaps the most exciting development - significant progress toward launching the UK’s first multi‑employer collective defined contribution (CDC) schemes.
