Building a more sustainable future starts with action today. We’re committed to minimising our environmental impact and developing sustainable business practices, as part of our promise to be a socially responsible business.
Since 2020, we’ve reduced our core carbon footprint by 46%, from 1,988 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e). Our carbon emissions per person have dropped by more than 65%. We've set new targets through our science-based carbon emissions reduction plan. You can find full details by following the link below.
We’re proud to work with our people to help them reduce their carbon footprint, and we support our clients, customers, and suppliers to lower their emissions too.
The Hymans Robertson Foundation is an independent registered charity, set up in 2016. The firm donates 2% of pre-tax profits each year, supporting the Foundation to carry out its mission to make a positive impact on young people and communities across the UK.
The Foundation works with other community and charitable organisations. Through them, we fund projects aimed at improving the financial futures of thousands of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support local community projects that improve lives.
Supporting our local communities is the perfect example of our purpose in action. Our people are encouraged to use 21 hours of paid volunteering leave each year, with volunteering days and fundraising activities coordinated by our Helping Hands teams.
Through the Hymans Robertson Foundation we provide matched funding for individual and team fundraising, adding more than £18,500 in donations over the last year.
