Overview
Samer is a Partner and ‘home grown’ actuary with over 25 years of pensions experience, all gained at Hymans Robertson.
Samer is scheme actuary to a range of clients varying from not-for-profits to FTSE100-sponsored schemes. He’s an industry expert on technical actuarial issues, including those relating funding, PPF levy management and company accounting. He has a keen focus on quality assurance and professionalism, being the Firm’s Senior Actuary, responsible for maintaining the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Quality Assurance Scheme accreditation that the Firm has.
He chairs our internal professional oversight group and led the implementation of consumer duty best practice in the actuarial private business unit. Outside work, he’s a keen sports fan and plays cricket regularly.
