Overview
Patrick is a Actuarial Trainee based in the Glasgow office, having joined Hymans Robertson in 2025 after completing a summer internship in the London office in 2024.
Patrick has experience consulting on defined benefit pension schemes with assets exceeding £5 billion, working on both client-facing and technical teams. He is part of the Open DB Consulting team, where he supports schemes that remain open to future accrual and new members. Alongside this, Patrick also works on GMP-related projects, helping clients navigate complex equalisation and rectification exercises. He holds a First-Class degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Southampton, which underpins his strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys Muay Thai and keeping active in the gym.
