David is an enthusiastic Trainee Actuary who has been with Hymans for over two years and has gained valuable experience across both client-facing and technical teams.
He plays a key role in the Open DB team, focusing on the technical aspects of schemes that remain open to accrual. He regularly drafts cutting edge pensions-related blogs and newsletters, and helps support roundtable events.
David has worked with a wide range of pension schemes, from smaller schemes with £35m of assets to taking a leading role in the delivery of bulk transfer value exercises for a multi-billion-pound scheme.
In his spare time, David can often be found in the gym and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
