Chris joined Hymans Robertson in 2006 and is a partner of Hymans Robertson.
Since qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Faculty of Actuaries in 1992, Chris has provided scheme actuarial and consulting advice to a number of UK pension funds, of a wide range of sizes and across a range of industries. Chris acts as independent adviser to a number of plan sponsors, considering strategies to reduce unwanted pension scheme risks, and advising on mergers and acquisitions (including in relation to outsourcing contracts). Chris also provides advice on responses to changes in tax treatment of pension benefits, as well as pension accounting, under UK, US and international standards.
Chris is married and, with three daughters, now enjoys reminiscing about when he had time for a variety of sporting interests, while mulling the irony that he may never actually be able to afford to retire.
