Commenting on the Review of the Automatic Enrolment Earnings Trigger, Hannah English, Head of DC Corporate, Hymans Robertson says:

“We welcome the update from the call for evidence and are pleased to see that the government remains committed to continuing to drive auto-enrolment as a key method of preparing employees for retirement. The maintaining of the current LEL and earnings threshold will mean even more employees will now fall within the parameters of auto-enrolment and highlights the commitment increasing participation and driving a good retirement for all. With the Pensions Commission due early in 2027, not tinkering with the thresholds now supports creating space for the future recommendations; we eagerly await the findings in February.”
