Potential challenges around retirement adequacy are becoming a growing risk for employers. In our recent survey of 500 senior decision-makers at large organisations, more than 90% said they were concerned about the impact employees being unable to afford to retire could have on their workforce.

Our publication looks at retirement adequacy through a gender lens. Using our retirement adequacy heatmap, we explore how retirement outcomes can differ between male and female employees, the factors driving the gender pensions gap and what this could mean for employers.

The analysis helps answer some key questions, including:

  • Could your workforce have a gender pensions gap?
  • What factors are driving differences in retirement outcomes?
  • How could retirement inadequacy affect your diversity, equity and inclusion ambitions?

Understanding these challenges can help employers identify risks, assess the effectiveness of their pension provision and build a strategy to address retirement inadequacy across their workforce.

If you'd like to understand how the gender pensions gap could affect your workforce, please get in touch.
