The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has finalised its supervisory expectations for how banks and insurers should manage climate-related risks.

The new policy, SS5/25, replaces SS3/19 and brings together previous PRA communications on this topic. This clarity and added detail will help firms understand what good practice looks like, and make it easier for insurers already managing climate risks effectively to demonstrate this to the PRA.

Our latest newsflash explains what has changed and what insurers need to do now.
