Modern slavery’s presence in global supply chains makes it a financially material risk to pension-scheme investments. When uncovered, it can create financial and reputational risks.

We surveyed listed credit and equities managers on their approaches to modern slavery risk management and how they’re engaging with portfolio companies to promote real-world change.

Our publication will cover:

  • Recognising the risk: modern slavery is firmly on investment managers’ agendas.
  • Using the right data: multiple data sources help managers identify and monitor risks.
  • Driving change: engagement with companies can strengthen transparency and practices.
  • Strengthening oversight: trustees can challenge managers and monitor progress.
