The range of endgame options available to pension schemes has grown significantly in recent years. But with more choice can come more uncertainty.

For schemes still weighing up their long-term destination, delaying decisions can have consequences. Taking more risk than necessary, missing investment opportunities or allowing portfolios to drift away from their objectives can all affect outcomes over time.
