In our recent webinar, From risk to resilience: future-proofing your DB pension run-on strategy, we delved into the benefits and key risks facing corporates looking to run-on. We also published two accompanying run-on publications which discussed what they really mean for corporate sponsors and understanding your key risks.

In particular, we explored investment risk; longevity risk; and regulatory and legislative risk. When surveying our webinar attendees, we found that 50% believe regulation is their biggest risk. This isn’t surprising given recent regulatory announcements and the legislative environment for DB schemes shifting rapidly. Corporates must stay ahead of these changes to ensure they’re well-placed for  future flexibilities.

We’ve now set out a checklist of actions we think corporates should be taking to future proof their run-on strategies.
