It’s official and we couldn’t B prouder… Hymans Robertson is a B Corp!
We’re proud and delighted that Hymans Robertson is now a certified B Corporation.
We’re joining a global community of thousands of purpose-driven companies working together to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
B Corp certification is verified by B Lab - a global non-profit network with a mission to inspire and enable people to use business as a force for good. It’s a designation that a business is meeting high standards for social and environmental impact, that it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and that it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile.

The certification process
Prospective B Corps are assessed across five key areas:
- Governance
- Workers
- Community
- Environment
- Customers
Each area is evidenced via an extensive bank of questions contained in B Corp’s digital Impact Assessment tool. To certify as a B Corp, a business must obtain a verified minimum score of 80 Points.
We were delighted to certify with an overall score of 84.9.
Becoming a B Corp is a real milestone for our firm, but just the start of our journey. By certifying, we step into a framework for continuous improvement. In order to maintain certification, businesses must undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating they are still meeting B Lab’s standards — which are themselves always improving, with continual input from expert stakeholders. We can’t wait to learn from and contribute to the B Corp movement.
