In this quarters RI News & Views, we consider the recent challenges that have levied at the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) industry, particularly around data, ratings and greenwashing. We touch on the role of ESG data as both a risk management tool and a means of measuring impact, exploring the question, what are we really assessing?
