Nicola Torley
Nicola is a qualified actuary and Consultant in the Insurance & Financial Services practice, based in Edinburgh. She has over 7 years of experience working with clients in the life insurance industry and, having joined Hymans in 2020, will have a particular focus working in the longevity pillar.
Nicola’s experience to date has focused largely on the audits of life insurance companies, assessing the appropriateness of clients’ reported results through the audit of the end-to-end process, including longevity assumptions. In addition, Nicola has prior experience in internal model validation projects.
