2021 is a big milestone for us at Hymans – we turn 100. Not many companies reach this ripe old age, so our centenary is something we’re proud of and want to celebrate. 100 years of embracing change, innovating and navigating uncertainty. But our birthday year is as much a chance to look to the future as it is to reflect on the past. At Hymans, we care about building better futures, so throughout the year we’re looking at the big issues that affect us all, from climate change and financial security to diversity & inclusion and the role that technology will increasingly have to play in the future.
Climate change is unarguably the biggest threat to all our futures and we want to play our part building a sustainable future for generations to come. To mark our 100th birthday we’re making a pledge to become carbon neutral from 2021, and to halve our carbon footprint by 2025. You can find out more about our climate vision and pledge or watch our short video, below.
For the next few months we’re going to be focusing on building better financial security – exploring the various challenges and barriers and how we can collectively overcome them. Read John’s blog to find out more. We have a though-provoking line-up of blogs, podcasts and other content throughout the year. Be sure to follow #Hymans100 to stay up-to-date.
Our climate pledge is about making sustainability intrinsic to our firm and culture - and to keep it that way - for the next 100 years.
