Most trustees monitor administration performance via regular stewardship reports. However, other aspects of running the scheme are not always documented in any detail. Trustees need to ensure that all aspects of the scheme run effectively and effiiciently.

  • Agreement and maintenance of a risk register, including the use of an on-line assessment tool.
  • Preparation and maintenance of a complaints register.
  • Preparation of a schedule showing delegated authorities.
  • Preparation and maintenance of a "trustee bible" containing all the key documents associated with the scheme.
  • Advice on measuring effectiveness of your advisors.
