 Our approach to training

Whilst training is a serious subject with the quality of the information being imparted paramount, we at Hymans Robertson also recognise that education is more effective if it is an enjoyable experience. With this in mind, every effort is made to ensure participants get the best out of each training experience by using varying interactive, coaching and workbook methods, with a few surprises included for good measure. All our training is delivered by individuals who have many years experience ‘in the field’ and understand the needs and challenges of pension scheme administration.

In addition to the courses below we also run courses tailored more specifically to your needs. For instance, concentrating on the administration of Defined Benefits arrangements using your own schemes as working examples, all aspects of administration of hybrid schemes or those with money purchase underpins.

The costs for provision of the courses range between £950 for a half day course to £1,500 for a full day’s training. Bespoke courses will be priced individually. We are also prepared to offer further discounts if more than two training courses are purchased. The maximum attendance at each session would be approximately ten attendees so that full benefit of the course can be enjoyed, however, this can be discussed further as required. Prices include handouts etc.

In addition to technical training, we can either offer or source training for other skills, such as time management, professional letter writing, telephone skills and project planning. 

If you would like to participate in one of the courses but do not feel you could send enough delegates to fill a session, we may be able to find you places on an existing course on a per delegate charge.
