Ronnie Bowie, Senior Partner at Hymans Robertson commented: “The operating environment for all organisations remains challenging in today’s economic climate. However, despite this, Hymans Robertson has maintained its track record as a successful profitable business whilst implementing the necessary steps and innovations to sustain the company’s growth.

“Our financial results show that we have increased our overall turnover by 6% to a total of £48 million with a profit margin of 13%. These figures are testament that our approach of providing bespoke tailored solutions combined with a gold standard client service remains attractive to the marketplace.

“Providing high quality advice to pension funds and sponsoring employees remains the core of our business, but through continued investment in our people, products, services and technology we have been able to demonstrate our expertise to new and existing clients in other areas such as financial risk management and benefits design and strategy.

“This commitment to innovation and meeting the changing needs of our clients is exemplified by the ongoing success of our Club Vita subsidiary. Since its launch in 2008 the business has grown its client base to work with over 100 of the UK’s biggest pension schemes helping control the longevity risk of funds totalling over £130 billion.

“The rise in popularity of defined contribution schemes, an ageing population, new government agendas and the hangover of the recession will continue to drive demand for speedy innovation in benefits design and delivery. Through our continued investment into a number of e-business solutions such as pensionsWEB and focalPOINT we are already meeting this challenge head on and have attracted a range of new clients from across the FTSE100 and 350 through our work.

“We are very pleased that Hymans Robertson’s capabilities continue to be recognised with several major industry awards and hope to continue building on these successes over the coming year as we strive to remain at the cutting edge of pensions, benefits and risk consulting”
