Recruitment Advisor 

Location: London 
Term: Permanent 

Hymans Robertson is seeking to recruit a Recruitment Advisor with strong communication and organisation skills to work as part of the HR team within the London office.

Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage recruitment agency relationships, including preferred supplier list
  • Manage and develop direct recruitment channels
  • Produce role profiles and job adverts in conjunction with the business and wider HR team
  • Manage recruitment campaigns, liaising with agencies, response handling, reviewing and short listing candidates
  • Maintain vacancies on intranet and internet
  • Arrange interviews with candidates
  • Prepare interview guides and recruitment tests in conjunction with recruiting managers/wider HR team
  • Conduct interviews where appropriate
  • Develop and maintain candidate tracking systems from receipt of CV to candidate feedback
  • Produce and manage recruitment MI
  • Contribute to annual graduate recruitment and work placement efforts
  • Manage assessment centres to include logistics and facilitating sessions
  • Review, maintain and develop firm-wide recruitment standards and procedures in line with best practice
  • Advise, support and coach team leaders and people managers in the correct application of recruitment policies and procedures

  • Takes ownership of issues and see through to resolution whilst understanding when to escalate if required

Qualifications:

  • Educated to at least A Level/Scottish Higher standard or equivalent
  • Ideally holds an Honours Degree
  • CIPD qualified or part-qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience

Experience:

  • Experience in administering psychometric tests
  • Well developed interviewing skills
  • Have written job ads and specs
  • Previous experience of and responsibility for managing candidate pipeline (including numerous vacancies simultaneously)
  • Previous experience of managing logistics for an assessment centre or similar kind of candidate testing
  • Worked with PSL’s previously
  • Ability to give constructive feedback, including difficult messages
