Every year we recruit a number of highly talented graduates who are ready to embark on their career of becoming a consulting actuary.  With a solid grounding in maths essential, we recruit graduates from a wide range of numerical disciplines.  Recent actuarial trainees have come from varied backgrounds ranging from those with PhDs in Maths and Physics to those with undergraduate degrees in Statistics, Aeronautics, Engineering and Economics.

To qualify as an actuary you’ll be required to master economics, probability, statistics, financial mathematics and more. You’ll also have to be able to keep track of changing legislation, demographics and markets.
